His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh meets our students

On 9 September, two pupils from the Institut International de Lancy, together with our Director General, Mrs Monique Roiné, had the great honour of meeting His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh during his visit to Geneva. Whilst in Switzerland to promote The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, His Royal Highness had the opportunity to engage with young people taking part in the programme.

This meeting was an exceptional experience for our students. They had the opportunity to share what the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award means to them and to meet other young people from different schools offering the programme.

At IIL, we are proud to be delivering the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award to more than 140 of our secondary school students in 2026-2027. Through the programme, we accompany them as they challenge themselves, discover their strengths and develop their self-confidence.
