Sport Passion Nature Registrations are open

8 March 2022

Our “Sport Passion Nature” option is growing and registrations for the next school year have just opened. Arnaud Denis, Head of sports at IIL answers our questions and gives us more information about this project.

What is “Sport Passion Nature”?

It’s a unique two-year sports program giving our students the opportunity to access different sports that are not normally available. This is often because they require specific skills which need longer than the two allocated P.E. modules. We have begun by introducing it to Year 5 and 8e and it will be an option next year with Y6 and 7e.

Who is the program for?

This program is offered to all French and English students who are in the last two years of their primary education.

Why did you set it up?

Our aim was to set up a program that our students could only dream of in a perfect world. We are giving them the opportunity to experience and make unforgettable memories with their classmates.

How does it work?

The students can choose between six “menus”. During the winter months, there are options such as skiing and snowshoeing. In the warmer months, we propose sailing, paddle boarding, golf, tree climbing, trampolining, horse riding or archery among others.

What do our students and parents think?

Our first foray into this new option has been a great success. We have and will continue to listen to the feedback from the students and parents, all feedback is valuable. It enables us to give exactly the options that are wanted and helps us to improve on all experiences.

Registrations are now open on ENT.
