International Test Series : Canada vs Switzerland

IIL is the home of netball in Switzerland, being the very first Swiss school to introduce both club and school netball in 2008. Therefore it was with great pleasure that we hosted both the Canadian and Swiss teams to the IIL gym for pre match training on October 8th and 9th.

Pupils of IIL were invited to watch both sessions and this opportunity was keenly taken up. On Sunday 11th IIL asked to provide Ball Girls for the final test match. The girls invited to take up this opportunity were the Y5/Y6 girls who have been playing netball for school and were the successful ADISR Benjamin team in April 2015.

They did the school proud in their IIL netball kit, taking their job very seriously. They were also able to get autographs of the international teams. Hopefully the weekend inspired them to continue to play netball for school and club.
