International day against violence and bullying at school Workshops and discussions

November 5, 2021

This year for the International Day against violence and bullying at school, including cyberbullying, we organised a theme day. This epitomises the values that we as a  community hold dear such as working side by side, empathy, tolerance and kindness.

This was achieved by inclusive workshops on discrimination and respect that were organised by Amnesty International. For the primary students, a musical performance on the subject of bullying was given by Sonia Grimm. The secondary students led class discussions on the same matter.

Our aim is to incorporate the anti-bullying program, ‘Kiva’, taking it further than just conflict resolution which is comprised of three aims prevention, intervention and monitoring.

Throughout the year, our students, our teachers and all of our staff, have taken part in preventive courses to ensure a global awareness of the issue.
