IIL talents at Youth@Geneva conference

Andrea Arnal and Charlie Pitcairn from Year 12 represented IIL at InnovativeYouth@Geneva conference last Saturday, November 21st.

This conference aims to provide an opportunity for young people to speak up and be heard when expressing their opinions.

The theme of the conference was the ‘Concept of Change’.

Charlie opened the conference with a captivating speech on “Your Career Path – Don’t be Afraid of Change”, which was very well received.

Andrea talked about “Changing existing conditions of inequality”. During the speech her keynote, which had been converted into a powerpoint, did not work and Andrea was forced to improvise on the spot.

Despite of the initial technical difficulties, Andrea won the first prize and received the highest praise from the judges and public!

Very well done to both Charlie and Andrea!
