The Institut International de Lancy inaugurates its new building
October 1, 2025On Wednesday, 1 October, the Institut International de Lancy had the honour of officially inaugurating its new building, B25, in the presence of Ms Paradas, the French Ambassador to Switzerland, Mr Leclerc, the Consul General of France in Switzerland, and Ms Boissard Gos, Head of the Private Education Department at the DIP.
After opening its doors to students at the start of the school year, it was time to introduce the new building to our partners.
The event began with speeches by Ms Roiné, Director General of the Institute, Mr. Brun, President of the Institut de Lancy Association, and Mr. Bonfanti, Mayor of the City of Lancy.
The ceremony then continued with a luncheon reception, organised after the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony.
During the inauguration, guests had the opportunity to visit the facilities, accompanied by IIL staff members.
To the rhythm of music performed by a violinist specially invited for the occasion, students gave several demonstrations aimed at fully immersing guests in campus life. Visitors were able to attend a ballet class in the dance studio, watch a climbing demonstration on the interactive climbing wall, observe a sports class in the fitness room, and see a full staged talk show in the media room.
A big thank you to everyone who shared this convivial moment with us.
