IIL hosted a charity concert in support of the Association Enfants Aidants

16 February 2026

On 4 February, the Institut International de Lancy (IIL) had the pleasure of hosting an exceptional charity concert in support of the Association Enfants Aidants, in collaboration with the Geneva Lions Club. True to its commitment to solidarity, the Institut International de Lancy supports a charitable project each year and organises various initiatives to raise funds. This year, IIL chose to support the Association Enfants Aidants, whose mission is to assist children with a parent experiencing psychological vulnerability. In Switzerland, 7.9% of children aged 10 to 15 are considered young carers, representing nearly 50,000 children.

More than 120 people attended the evening held in the Institute’s Concert Hall. Following an opening set by the talented student and staff musicians of the Institute, the IIL Band, the group Fontenioux Lak & Co took to the stage to perform several of their compositions. The singer notably performed an original song, written especially in tribute to young carers. On this occasion, he was joined by young IIL students, offering the audience a particularly moving moment.

All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Association Enfants Aidants to help fund a documentary film aimed at informing and raising awareness in society about this concerning reality, which directly affects children and young people in our immediate environment.
