At the Institut International de Lancy, humanitarian work is at the roots of our history. Every year, students initiate projects and take part in charity work. Concerned about the large number of homeless people in Geneva, four students from the English secondary section, Ines, Noemi, Julia and Elisa, had the idea to launch a project to cook and distribute meals to the homeless in Geneva. Last May, the students behind the « Cook and succeed together » project received the 2023 Young Ambassadors Award at the Lions Club National Convention in Geneva and had the chance to represent Switzerland at the Junior Ambassador European Competition of the Lions Club in Austria at the end of October. They brilliantly took second place. The Institut International de Lancy is very proud of what they have achieved and how they managed to federate the whole community around their wonderful project.
