\n<\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>The speakers at the official ceremony included the Administrative Councillor of the City of Lancy, Mr Damien Bonfanti, the Provincial Superior for the Province of Europe of the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint-Joseph of Lyon, Sister Catherine Fromager, the President of the Board of the Association Institut de Lancy, Mr Jean-Pierre Brun, and the school’s Director General, Mrs Monique Roiné. The speeches were followed by musical and stage performances showcasing all the talents of the IIL students.<\/p>\n\n\n\nWhat will IIL look like 120 years from now? The ceremony ended with a projection into the future, with a presentation about artificial intelligence that really sparked the audience’s interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\nGuests then enjoyed the cocktail reception and a variety of delicacies served in different areas, allowing them to discover or rediscover the campus and its extensions. An exhibition of archive photos also gave former students a chance to reconnect with their years at IIL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large\">“We are proud to celebrate 120 years of the Institute with all those who have worked and are still working to ensure its prosperity.
