1903 Collège Marie-Thérèse founded by the Order of the Sisters of Saint Joseph following the introduction of a French law prohibiting religious congregations of any persuasion.

1927 Creation of the section leading to French Diploma (Baccalaureat).

1958 Inauguration of the Claire-Joie (Primary) building.

1969 Construction of the Science Laboratory.

1982 Renovation of the chapel in the Clairval (Secondary) building.

1989 Re-organization of the Infant classes in the Orval building.

1990 Provision of English language education in all Infant and Primary classes and preparation for O-level English course for Anglophones.
Modification of remaining boarding school rooms in Claire-Joie.

1993 Extension of Secondary curriculum to encompass a future Maturité, French and International Baccalaureat.

1994 Co-education in both Primary and Secondary sections.

1998 Mr Norbert Foerster takes over as Headmaster.

2000 Creation of the first Parents Association (APECM), with the agreement of the Institute.

2001 Opening of a new English Language Primary section, with French taught as a foreign language.
